Liz's Approach

Liz utilizes Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with adults and teens. CBT is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals recognize and change patterns of thinking for healthier outcomes. DBT helps individuals learn new skills to manage painful emotions and increase healthy interpersonal interactions.

Liz completed an externship in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT). EFCT incorporates attachment perspective with adult emotions to help couples connect in a healthy way.

Liz is a client centered counselor who embraces an individual's faith identity in the counseling relationship.

Liz was born in Rawlins, Wyoming. She completed her secondary schooling from Encampment High School.

Liz enjoys connecting with her family. They lived in Alaska where Liz was enthralled with amazing wildlife and beautiful scenery. Liz also relishes solving a good mystery.

Liz has a thirst for knowledge and especially in getting to know the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
